Campaigning

Sponsorship

Organisations engage in sponsorship activities for a variety of reasons (and in differing ways) according to their marketing objectives and the position of their brand in its lifecycle. Font Public Relations helps organizations to develop policies, procedures, and return on investment mechanisms to guide their sponsorship activities.

Typically, engagement in sponsorship activities provides valuable opportunities for organizations to communicate marketing messages to their target audiences. In this way, sponsorship objectives should reflect your overarching marketing objective - to change target audiences attitudes and behaviours.

Unlike donations and philanthropic undertakings, effective sponsorship activities should deliver a demonstrated return on investment. With this in mind, Font Public Relations have developed a Return on Investment Assessment model to help organizations
uniformly assess and benchmark sponsorship applications measuring return on investment and evaluating alignment with organisational values and objectives.

When making sponsorship investment decisions, we encourage our clients to place value on the ability to promote a particular message (beyond a corporate logo) in innovative ways that maximise impact and extend audience reach.

Some of our key services in respect to sponsorship:

  • Specialist advice and modeling for organisations seeking to implement a sponsorship return on investment model and improve leveraging.
  • Training and advice to organisations seeking to measure and improve their sponsorship earning capabilities and financial outcomes.
  • Development of Sponsorship Policies.
  • Sponsorship workshops and seminars.
  • Negotiation and preparation of Sponsorship Contracts.
  • Keynote addresses at conferences, meetings, and events.

Your strategic communications plan equips you with the tools to to dictate your own destiny.

However, if your project is time-defined - a conference, product launch, a charity promotion or industry awards for excellence - Font Public Relations will create a publicity strategy and event management plan tailored for perfect fit.
Our work is recognised for its attention to detail and our success in generating interest from stakeholders and the media.

Building from a public relations foundation enables Font Public Relations to capitalise on our knowledge of whos who, whats what and whens best.

Social Media Training

National research earlier this year revealed that Facebook and Twitter have overtaken searching as the most popular online activity. Almost four in five of Australias nine million social media users sent or shared a photo in the past year, and nearly three quarters sent or shared a link. Social media has moved out of the realm of new media to mainstream.

Tasmanian research undertaken by Font Public Relations has revealed that currently 58 per cent of Tasmanians are engaged in some form of social media.

Fonts training encompasses an introduction into social media and covers:

  • the history of social media (a quick overview and some interesting statistics)
  • social media in a Tasmanian context (who is using it and what platforms are they using?)
  • social media policy and procedure (how to protect your personal or company brand)
  • an introduction to Facebook (how it works, why it works and what communication works best)
  • an introduction to Twitter (how it works, why it works and what communication works best)
  • an introduction to YouTube (how it works, why it works and what communication works best)
  • an exploration of successful case studies demonstrating how social media can be used effectively for reputation building, brand awareness and community engagement
  • sharing is caring what do individuals want from you and how can you make it easy for them to access it?
  • resource allocation (what do I need to invest to make this successful)
  • social media into the future

Throughout the training participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and draw on real world examples to enhance their knowledge of social media platforms and communication.
