New-look Tasmanian Business Reporter to help local businesses through COVID-19
A special bumper edition of the new-look Tasmanian Business Reporter focussing on COVID-19’s impact on local business will be published tomorrow.
It marks the first edition of the TBR since Font reached a licensing agreement with the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) to transform the newspaper into a business-to-business publication.
TCCI CEO Michael Bailey said it was more important than ever for Tasmanian businesses to have access to localised business-focussed news and information.
“While the whole world is tackling COVID-19, its exact impact on business is highly dependent on a number of local variables.
“That’s why we decided to bring forward the publication of the new-look TBR from its original June 2020 date in order to provide Tasmanian businesses with local COVID-19 information now, when they are most in need.
“The paper is jam-packed with information for business including advice on the operating rules for business, what support is available for business, and most importantly how to access it.”
An electronic version of the newspaper will be available and widely distributed from tomorrow by the TCCI and a number of other peak business organisations. In addition, a hard copy of the newspaper will be direct-mailed to all TCCI members.
