Lucinda is a highly skilled communications specialist with more than 17 years’ experience in the industry, working across a wide range of brands, delivering services ranging from strategic communications planning and media conferences to staging large scale events and devising community engagement strategies.
Lucinda has extensive knowledge in developing strategic communications plans, media relations, events, content creation, social media strategies and stakeholder management practices.
Spanning across almost two decades, her career highlights include launching Australia’s first dementia village, producing a communications strategy for the Cradle Mountain Gateway Precinct and Dove Lake Viewing Facility, media relations and event management for Jansz Tasmania’s Single Vineyard Cuvee Chardonnay 2007, and most recently managing media and community engagement for the announcement of a $65 million aqua feed production facility in the state’s north west.
Since graduating from the Tasmanian Leaders Program in 2012, Lucinda has taken on a number of leadership positions at Font involving staff and client management. Lucinda’s wealth of experience and training means she currently mentors Font’s graduate consultants, developing their skills in communication, media and professional practice.
Clients she has recently worked alongside include RACT Insurance, St.LukesHealth, WorkSafe Tasmania, Tasplan and BioMar Australia.
Lucinda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Journalism and Political Science. In 2018, she was appointed a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia recognising her professional experience and contribution to the industry through excellence in achievements and adherence to the highest professional standards.
